MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee volleyball team played in yet another nail-biter of a match to conclude the sixth annual Blue Raider Bash, falling to Miami (Fla.) Sunday afternoon, 3-1 (25-20, 21-25, 23-25, 23-25).

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - The Middle Tennessee soccer team controlled play and had several chances to put the game out of reach, but two second half goals by Evansville lifted the Purple Aces to a 2-1 victory Sunday afternoon at Dean A. Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

SPLIT, Croatia - Middle Tennessee alumna Sarah Nambawa placed sixth overall at the 2010 IAAF/VTB Bank Continental Cup on Saturday in Split, Croatia, recording a final mark of 45-2.5 (13.78m).

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee scored 17 unanswered points to take its first lead but a late score by Minnesota broke the tie and gave the Gophers a 24-17 victory in Thursday's season opener for both schools in front of the fourth-largest crowd of 25,908 fans at Floyd Stadium in Murfreesboro, Tenn. The Blue Raiders played host to their first Big Ten opponent in school history live on ESPNU as they kicked off the 75th season at Floyd Stadium.
