Blue Raiders travel to Austin Peay Saturday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee women's basketball will celebrate the 1000th game in program history Saturday night when the Blue Raiders travel up I-24 to face Austin Peay at 7 p.m. inside the Lady Govs' Dunn Center. The game will mark the third of four straight to open the campaign against teams which reached the NCAA Tournament a year ago for Middle Tennessee.

As the final home game approaches and the seniors are celebrated one last time Saturday, they take a few moments to reflect on the family they have created for themselves during their career at Middle Tennessee.

Washington leads way with 19 points

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee evened its season record at 2-2 with a fast-paced 74-66 win over visiting Lamar University Thursday night in Murphy Center. It was the Blue Raiders' fourth game in seven days to start the new season.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee will enter the realm of NASCAR this weekend as its logo will appear on the 31-W Insulation 05 Nationwide Series race car at Homestead, Fla. The 31-W car is making the space available for Middle Tennessee to promote the University and athletics.
