Bartley Webb, a former offensive lineman at Notre Dame, begins his first season at Middle Tennessee as an offensive video graduate assistant.
Webb, a highly recruited prep player, redshirted in 2006 and then played in one game during the 2007 season before suffering a career-ending shoulder injury. Webb remained on scholarship and served as a student coach during the 2008 and 2009 seasons.
Webb is from Springdale, Ark., where he led Springdale High School to a No. 4 national ranking and a perfect 14-0 record to capture the 5A state title in 2005. Coached by Gus Malzahn at Springdale, Webb was selected to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl prep all-star game in 2005.
Webb earned his degree from Notre Dame in 2010.
