Chas Narramore

Student Assistant Coach

Chas Narramore begins his second season as a student assistant coach after wrapping up his senior season with the Blue Raiders.

Narramore was part of the team that won its first Sun Belt Championship in 2009 in addition to being on the 2008 NCAA National Championship Tournament team. The Kingston, Tenn., native was named All-Sun Belt in 2007 and 2008 and was a three-time Sun Belt Conference Player of the Month selection. Narramore ranks second all-time for best three-round total in program history with 206 at 207 Scenic City Invitational.

As a senior he was named All-SBC for third straight year after helping lead Middle Tennessee to its first SBC Championship. He is the only Blue Raider ever to earn three All-SBC honors and one of three players (Brett Alexander, J.R. Wade) in program history to earn all-conference honors three times. Narramore was named Golfweek's National Player of the Week, March 30, after helping lead Middle Tennessee to the Callaway Collegiate Match Play Championship. Narramore finished 30th (out of 75) at the NCAA Regional after recording an 8-over 224.

As a junior, he ranked sixth in the Sun Belt Conference with a 72.7 stroke average, which led the team. Narramore turned in six Top-10 and nine Top-20 finishes ...Enjoyed 20 rounds at par or better, which were 50 percent of the rounds he played and played 15 of those rounds under par. Narramore helped lead Middle Tennessee to its first NCAA Division I Men's Golf National Championship, where the Blue Raiders made the cut and finished 15th nationally. He also helped assure Middle Tennessee's berth in the NCAA Championship with a strong showing at the NCAA East Regional, where he turned in one of his finest performances of the season, shooting under par each of the three rounds and finishing at 3-under.
