Jeff Motluck
Associate Head Coach

Jeff Motluck is beginning his sixth season as associate head coach for the Middle Tennessee volleyball program. Motluck joined the staff after spending nine seasons at North Alabama with head coach Matt Peck.

As an assistant at Middle Tennessee, Motluck's primary responsibilities include all phases of recruiting, game preparation and planning, scouting opponents, on-court training, academic monitoring, and travel arrangements.

Motluck was a key component in helping Peck build a top NCAA Division II volleyball program at North Alabama. The culmination was in 2003 when the UNA Lions won the NCAA Division II Volleyball National Championship.

While at UNA, Motluck assisted Peck in eight NCAA South Regionals (1996-2003), four regional championships (1998, 1999, 2000, 2003), four trips to the NCAA Elite Eight (1998, 1999, 2000, 2003), two appearances in the Division II Final Four (2000, 2003), and eight straight Gulf South Conference championships. Motluck helped the Lions post a record of 312-61.

Prior to his stint at UNA, Motluck served one year as an assistant women's volleyball coach at Wayne State University in Detroit. As an assistant, he helped produce 20 All-Americans.

Motluck graduated in 1986 from Southern Illinois University with a bachelor's degree in graphic design and marketing.
