Justin Guidry enters his first season as a student assistant coach after a four-year playing career for the Blue Raiders.

During the 2012 and 2011 seasons, Guidry led the Blue Raiders in batting average and had the second-best average during his sophomore campaign in 2010. He also topped the team in hits for three consecutive seasons.
The Mount Juliet, Tenn., native raked in honors for his performance on the field, earning a spot on the ABCA/Rawlings All-America Third Team as a senior. Guidry was named to the ABCA All-Region First Team twice during his career and was a two-time All-Sun Belt First Team honoree. Following the 2012 league championship, Guidry was named to the all-tournament team.
