Kassie Stanfill

Assistant Coach

Kassie Stanfill enters her second season as assistant coach at Middle Tennessee.

A defensive specialist, she works with all phases of the game with the exception of pitching. She also plays a significant role in recruiting for the Blue Raiders.

Prior to coming to Murfreesboro, Stanfill served as the varsity assistant coach and junior varsity head coach at La Rue County High School in Hodgenville, Ky.

A four-year starter at Louisville, she was named to the 2007 and 2008 All-Big East third teams as well as the 2008 Big East All-Tournament squad. Stanfill has Tennessee ties, having played prep ball at Beech High School in Hendersonville, Tenn.

In her time at Beech, Stanfill was named to the AAA All District team in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 and was MVP of the district tournament in 2002 and 2005. She earned all mid-state and all-state honors in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 and was named AAA MVP of the district in 2003 and 2004. Led by Stanfill, the Buccaneers won the AAA state championship in 2004.
