Keith Vroman is in his third season as the graduate assistant coach under the tutelage of Dean Hayes. Vroman , currently in his sixth year of coaching, brings with him the experience of two distance running programs steeped in tradition, Eastern Kentucky University and Grand Valley State University. That experience helped guide the Blue Raiders cross country team from eighth place in 2003 to second place in 2004 at the Sun Belt Conference Championships.

Vroman serves as the men's and women's cross country and track distance coach. His other duties include recruiting and meet management.

The Ludington, Mich., native earned his B.S. in Physical Education, M.A. in Health Education and M.S. in Sports Administration at Eastern Kentucky University, where he competed in cross country and the steeplechase. He is currently working on his Ph. D. in Exercise Science at Middle Tennessee.
