Nate Snell

Volunteer Assistant Coach

Entering his first season with the Blue Raider Soccer program, Nate Snell brings a variety of experience as the volunteer assistant coach.

Most recently, Snell spent three months with Major League Soccer (MLS) club FC Dallas during the 2012 season. The Valdosta, Ga., native developed a plan to shape the team roster, while learning professional strategies and tactics.

Prior to FC Dallas, Snell served as coach for the Murfreesboro Soccer Club’s Recreation league and also served as a staff coach for the Stone Rivers Futbol Club in Smyrna.

In 2009-10, Snell returned to MT as team manager. During that span he saw the Blue Raiders record 25 wins and capture a 2010 Sun Belt Tournament Championship.

Snell graduated from Middle Tennessee in 2006 with a bachelor’s in English. Currently, he is pursuing a master’s degree in Leisure and Sport Management with a concentration in sports industry. Snell holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) D License and a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) goalkeeper license.
