Paul McCormack is in his first season as a volunteer assistant with the Blue Raider volleyball team, where he will focus on the development of the hitters and setters.
McCormack joins the staff after coaching three seasons of club volleyball in Franklin, Tenn. Prior to that, he served as an assistant coach for the University of Wisconsin-Rock County volleyball team. McCormack has been a staff member for multiple summer camps, including the Middle Tennessee volleyball camps and former Olympic Gold Medalist Pat Powers' volleyball clinics.
McCormack has also developed a reputation as a player, most recently helping in the rebirth of the Middle Tennessee Men's Volleyball Club, and serving as president. In 2009, he helped lead the team to the National Collegiate Club Volleyball Tournament.
McCormack, a native of Watertown, Wis., is currently a student at Middle Tennessee, and on track to graduate in December.
