Zach Johnson
Offensive Video GA

Zach Johnson joined the Blue Raider coaching staff after spending the 2007 season as the tight ends coach at Presbyterian College. He is in his second season as a member of Rick Stockstill's staff.

The Blue Hose finished 6-5 in 2007 to record their fourth straight winning season.

Prior to his stint at Presbyterian, Johnson was a graduate assistant at MTSU in 2006. He worked under Russell Patterson in the strength and conditioning program.

Johnson graduated from Appalachian State in 2006 with a degree in Health Education. The Charlotte, N.C., native owns a teaching certificate in North Carolina.

During his time at Appalachian State, Johnson was a four-year letterwinner and a two-year starter at wide receiver for Jerry Moore's Mountaineers.

Johnson helped lead the Mountaineers to the 2005 National Championship as he reeled in six catches for 101 yards in the title game against Northern Iowa.
