Lady Raiders Set To Compete in Bradley Invite

Peoria, IL - Middle Tennessee (2-3) is traveling 492 miles to play intrastate rival Austin Peay on Friday at 5 p.m. in Peoria, IL at the Bradley Invitational, when the two teams entered the tournament, neither one knew the other was planning to attend.
Austin Peay, who was a conference rival when the Lady Raiders were a member of the Ohio Valley Conference, have met 43 times with the Lady Govs owning a 31-12 advantage. Austin Peay enters the game with a record of 2-2, as the team defeated Evansville 3-2 on Sept. 4 and has a record of 2-2.
The Lady Raiders will play host Bradley at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday Sept. 8 and then close out the tournament with a 5 p.m. match with San Jose State. Middle Tennessee is meeting both these teams for the first time.
