Herring Earns All-America Honors Again
June 1, 2002 · MT Media RelationsThe senior from Pontiac, Mich., earned All-America honors in the 400m last year during the outdoor season, and three times during the indoor season from 2000-02.
Late Friday night, the men's 4x100m relay of DJ Spann, Fred Williams, Wesley Dupar-Scott and Herring finished ninth in the event finals, running 40.01 and just missing earning All-American status.
Middle Tennessee's final competitor in the national championships, sophomore Chris Koger, competed in the high jump late Saturday night at Bernie Moore Stadium on the LSU campus.
