"When you consider looks, size, and speed, this is definitely the best class we have brought in," said Head Coach Andy McCollum. "They really look good coming through the door, but we will not know exactly the type class they are for two or three years down the road. I can't wait to see them on the field. It's a great group and we are excited to have them in our program."
The group will check into their dorms, take physicals, attend a team meeting, and prepare for the start of practices on Monday morning. The newcomers will hit the field at 9 AM and again at 5 PM on Monday and Tuesday before joining the veterans on Thursday.
The list of players who reported on Sunday were: Josh Harris, Clint Marks, Sean Waller, Kelvin German, Kevin Davis, Jonathan Bonner, Kevin Copeland, Niko Whiteside, Michael Watkins, Dennis Burke, Brent Moore, Paul Cantrell, Germayle Franklin, Kenny Edwards, Chris Sapp, Doug Waller, Devarick Scandrett, Marcus Gates, Pierre Ingram, Jeff Littlejohn, John Crawford, J.P. Shelly, Walt Bell, Alex Hennessey, DeLorean Jordan, Colby Smith, John Vickers, Kabote Sikyala, Jeremy Meade, Willie Hall, Troy Bergeron, Sam Williams, and Ricky Holder.
