Lady Raiders Roll Over App. State 3-1

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -Middle Tennessee (4-2) volleyball improves its win streak to three with a 3-1 win over Appalachian State (6-1) Friday at the Cal's Steakhouse Memphis Tournament.

The win snaps a six game winning streak for Appalachian State and the best start in two years for the Lady Raiders. After dropping the first game 30-25, Middle Tennessee came back and won the final three games for the victory.

Redshirt sophomore KeKe Deckard recorded her second double-double of the season with a team high 12 kills and 13 digs. Erin Hillstrom and Jennifer Hignite were second on the team with 10 kills respectively.

The Lady Raiders continue tournament play in Memphis with a 12:30 p.m. match-up with host Memphis on Saturday. Middle Tennessee ends the day with Birmingham Southern at 4:30 p.m.
