Hicks Sets Record: Dwone Hicks' 1-yard TD plunge in the second quarter was his 45th career rushing touchdown, giving the Huntsville, AL, native the school record. He surpassed former Blue Raider Joe Campbell for the mark. Hicks increased his previous school records of points scored to 310 and total touchdowns to 51 with the score, also.

More on Hicks: Dwone Hicks' 97 yards rushing today gives the senior from Huntsville, AL, a season best. Hicks now has tallied 171 yards this season. Hicks also picked up a season-long jaunt of 34 yards in the game.

Hines Tosses First TD Pass: QB Andrico Hines threw his first career touchdown pass in the second quarter of today's game. Hines hit WR Tyrone Calico on a 24-yard play for the score. Hines had attempted 51 throws on the year before he connected on the touchdown.

More on Hines: QB Andrico Hines' 202 yards passing today sets a career best for the Riverdale GA native. Hines' previous high of 165 yards came in the season opener against Alabama. Hines went 10-of-19 in passing against Kentucky this afternoon. On the year, Hines is 39-of-66 for an excellent 59.1 completion percentage.

Youell Moves Up: WR David Youell made big strides on the career receptions list this afternoon. His five receptions against the Wildcats places him in a tie for eighth place with Jamie Jamison with 82 career receptions. Youell now needs four catches to reach seventh place. Youell's 83 yards this afternoon is a season best.

Kelly Streak Ends: Kicker Brian Kelly saw his streak of consecutive PAT's end in the third quarter today. Kelly misfired on a 35-yard point-after attempt following a Blue Raider penalty on the previous two-point conversion try.

Billings Boots It: Punter Robert Billings turned in a solid day for the Blue Raiders against Kentucky. Billings averaged 47.2 yards on four kicks in the game. He also turned in a season-best 51-yard boot in the contest. Billings average in the game was nearly 10 yards better than his season average coming into the game.

First Quarter Woes Continue: Middle Tennessee's first quarter troubles continued today as the Blue Raiders surrendered 17 points to the Wildcats in the first stanza of the game. The Blue Raiders have now been outscored 53-0 in the first quarter this season. The team's largest first quarter deficit came at Alabama as the Blue Raiders found themselves behind 22-0.

Home at Last: The Blue Raiders will finally see the friendly confines of Floyd Stadium after opening the year with three straight road contests. The Blue Raiders have won 11 straight games in Murfreesboro
