Blue Raider Tennis Doubles Team Advances

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- Middle Tennessee doubles team Michael Staniak and Rishan Kruppu defeated Southern Illinois' Peter Bong and Alon Savidor 8-4 to advance to the semi-finals of the Middle Tennessee Fall Invitational Saturday at Buck Bouldin Tennis Center.
The doubles team of Daniel Klemetz and Kirk Jackson won 9-7 over Louisville's Jake Kirts and Jakob Gustafsson in the opening round of Flight One doubles. The duo defaulted to Ole Miss' Paul Ciorascu and Catalin Gord in the semi-finals.
Sunday will mark the final day of the three-day tournament. Matches begin at 8:30 a.m.
