After dropping game one, the Lady Raiders came out in games two, three and four with a lot more intensity. After having a .241 hitting percentage in game one, Middle Tennessee roared back with .464 in game two, .424 in game three and .302 in game four. The Lady Raiders ended the match with an overall hitting percentage of .248 to Florida International's .181.
"Tonight in games two, three and four we really came out with a lot of intensity," said head coach Lisa Kissee. "It is the first time I have seen that from this team all season, and we need it because FIU is an in your face type team."
Sophomore KeKe Deckard picked up her 17th double-double of the season with 19 kills and 11 digs in the match. Junior Karisse Baker had three service aces in the match and senior setter Kelly Quinn dished out 30 assists.
The Lady Raiders head on the road on November 6 when the Lady Raiders travel to Jonesboro, Arkansas to take on Arkansas State. Match time is set for 7 p.m.
