Grandstafff Named District Four Coach of the Year

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee assistant women's basketball coach Jennifer Grandstaff has been named Female Coach of the Year for district four by the A.F. Bridges Awards Committee.

The former Oakland High School head coach is one of nine Female Coach of the Year winners from the respective districts. Each will be considered for the state award of excellence.

The A.F. Bridges Award is given annually by the TSSAA to recognize member schools and individuals who make an effort to exact a specific code of ethics in athletic endeavors. The award is named after A.F. Bridges who was the TSSAA's first executive secretary.
