Middle Tennessee Softball Inks Three
November 15, 2002 · MT Media RelationsMURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee Head Softball Coach Cindy Connelley inked three recruits in the early signing period this week.
Two signees will be a part of the 2003-04 class while one is expected on campus in January. Kari Crandell, a transfer from Ohio State University, is a catcher who played in 10 games for the Buckeyes in 2002.
In-coming freshmen for the Lady Raiders next fall include two in-state players. Ashley Frizzell is a pitcher from Soddy Daisy, TN and Soddy Daisy High School and helped lead her team to a state championship. Brittany Herald, from Old Hickory, TN, is a first baseman and pitcher from Ezell-Harding High School.
