Scarlet Commons

Middle Tennessee's newest residential area, and home to many Blue Raider athletes, Scarlett Commons is located immediately north of the Campus Recreation Center.  Each of the nine buildings in this complex typically consist of twelve self-contained apartments. Each apartment unit provides a kitchen, dining area, living room, four individually keyed bedrooms and two baths.

A typical unit is well equipped. The kitchen is supplied with a table and four chairs, microwave, refrigerator, stove, and an oven.  Each living room boasts a sofa, lounge chair, and a TV stand.  The bedrooms contain a bed, dresser, closet, nightstand, and desk with hutch per bedroom.

Each living room is wired with a computer data line, cable, and phone access. Each bedroom is wired with phone and data lines. Students may activate bedroom phone lines at an additional cost.

All windows are furnished with mini-blinds, and affixed curtain rods are not allowed. Living room, bedroom and closet floors are carpeted. Dining area, kitchen, pantry storage, and lavatory floors are vinyl covered. Bathrooms have ceramic tile floors.

The Scarlett Commons clubhouse includes a 24-hour reception and service desk, recreation/meeting room with fireplace, and a laundry room.

Parking at the complex is reserved for residents of Scarlett Commons, and the Raider Xpress bus service stops in front of the clubhouse to transport students around campus.
