Softball Victim of Weather Again
February 26, 2003 · MT Media RelationsMurfreesboro, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee softball is yet again the victim of mother nature, as the Lady Raiders game with Belmont has been cancelled.
The Lady Raiders were scheduled to play a twin bill with neighboring Belmont in Nashville, but ice and rain caused the game to be cancelled. This comes on the heels of the cancellation of the Evansville Tournament, which Middle Tennessee was supposed to participate in this weekend on March 1-2.
Middle Tennessee has played six games in the young season and is looking for a brighter forecast next week when the team is scheduled to take on Austin Peay on March 4. Game times at Austin Peay are 2 and 4 p.m.
