Munsch Ties for 8th; Lady Raiders Finish 6th

Calhoun Co., Ala. - Middle Tennessee's Tamara Munsch shot a 76 in the final round to tie for eighth overall at the Chris Banister Classic on Tuesday. Munsch had a 157 total in the 36-hole event that was played on the Par 72 Silver Lakes Golf Course.

 

As a team, the Lady Raiders placed sixth in the 13-team field with a 648 (331-317), which was only three shots behind fifth place Bradley University. Host Jacksonville State won the event with a 613, while Murray State came in a distant second at 629.

 

Kandace Burnett enjoyed a solid final round with a 78 to tie for 15th, while teammate Grace Holmes tied for 29th with a 166. Kemmerlee Pennington had a two-round total of 169 (87-82) to tie for 36th.

 

Kristin Lynch completed the scoring by finishing 46th with a 172 (82-90).

 

The Lady Raiders will travel next Monday to Birmingham, AL, for the Lady Bulldog Intercollegiate.
