CALERA, Ala. - The Middle Tennessee women's golf team carded an impressive 309 in the final round of the Samford Lady Bulldog Intercollegiate to finish fifth in the 18 team field. The 309 marked the best round of the year for the Lady Raiders and the fifth best in school history.
The Lady Raiders finished with a 626, which was 25 shots behind tournament winner Alabama (601).
Junior Tamara Munsch once again paced the Lady Raiders by finishing in a tie for third overall with a 146. Munsch followed a 72 with a round of 74 on Tuesday.
Amanda Harter fired her career-best round on Tuesday with a 74 to finish tied for 19th with a 157. Kandace Burnett, who had a 79 in the final round, tied for 28th with a 160.
Kristin Lynch and Kemmerlee Pennington both finished with scores of 164 to tie for 51st.
The Lady Raiders will have off until April 7 when they head to Hattiesburg, MS for the Lady Eagle Invitational.
