Final Two Rounds Cancelled; Lady Raiders Finish Second
April 8, 2003 · MT Media RelationsHATTIESBURG, Miss. - Due to heavy rains today, the final two rounds of the Lady Eagle Invitational were cancelled. Middle Tennessee's first round score of 311 was second best in the field of 12 teams.
Host Southern Miss was declared the winner with an opening round of 295.
Middle Tennessee's Tamara Munsch finished tied for 5th, while Kandace Burnett tied for 10th. Kristin Lynch and Grace Holmes tied for 15th and Amanda Harter was 21st.
The Lady Raiders will not play again until the Sun Belt Conference Championship in Niceville, FL, April 21-23.
