Five players record double figure kills

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Five Middle Tennessee volleyball players recorded double figure kills in the Blue Raiders 3-0 (30-23, 30-25, 30-26) win over Arkansas-Little Rock (9-14, 2-4 SBC) Friday in Jack Stephens Center. Middle Tennessee improves to 13-5 and 4-1 in the Sun Belt.
After dropping a rare Sun Belt game on the road to North Texas last week, the Blue Raiders bounced back with a vengeance against the Trojans. It was the ninth shuout of the season for the Blue Raiders. Middle Tennessee was blistering on the court with a .398 attack percentage with 65 kills and just 15 errors.
Sophomore Ashley Adams led both clubs with 16 kills committing just two errors with a .412 attack percentage. Freshman setter Leslie Clark recorded the first double-double of her career with a season-high 56 assists and 10 digs.
Quanshell Scott (13), Ashley Asberry (12), Jessica Robinson (11) and Victoria Monasterolo (11) each recorded double figure kills for the Blue Raiders. Junior Alicia Lemau'u had 17 digs.
Middle Tennessee returns to action on Sunday to face Arkansas State in Jonesboro. The Indians fell to Western Kentucky 3-1 on Friday.
