LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Five Middle Tennessee volleyball players recorded double figure kills in the Blue Raiders 3-0 (30-23, 30-25, 30-26) win over Arkansas-Little Rock (9-14, 2-4 SBC) Friday in Jack Stephens Center. Middle Tennessee improves to 13-5 and 4-1 in the Sun Belt.
After dropping a rare Sun Belt game on the road to North Texas last week, the Blue Raiders bounced back with a vengeance against the Trojans. It was the ninth shuout of the season for the Blue Raiders. Middle Tennessee was blistering on the court with a .398 attack percentage with 65 kills and just 15 errors.
Sophomore Ashley Adams led both clubs with 16 kills committing just two errors with a .412 attack percentage. Freshman setter Leslie Clark recorded the first double-double of her career with a season-high 56 assists and 10 digs.
Middle Tennessee returns to action on Sunday to face Arkansas State in Jonesboro. The Indians fell to Western Kentucky 3-1 on Friday.
