SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. - The Middle Tennessee women's golf team shot a 622 in the first two rounds of the Ross Resort Invitational at the Mid-Pines Golf Course Monday and is tied for fourth out of 13 teams entering Tuesday's final round.

The Blue Raiders trail host Rollins College by 22 shots entering the final round. Princeton and Harvard are second and third, respectively, followed by Middle Tennessee and Yale, tied for fourth.

"We had some players shoot a good round but the problem was that we were not consistent throughout the lineup," Middle Tennessee women's golf coach Rachael Short said. "The course is very difficult and as a result the scores as a whole aren't very low so we are in position to at least make a move but we have to play better Tuesday."

Taryn Durham led Middle Tennessee with a 153 and is tied for 11th overall, followed by Jamey Dillard and Mallory Bishop, who are tied for 17th with a 156. Clara Leathers (157) and Leigh Wilkins (167) rounded out the scoring for the Blue Raiders.
