Lady Raider Golfers Tied for Second in Opening Round

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The Middle Tennessee women's golf team stand in second place behind Coastal Carolina following one complete round at the Unlimited Potential/Bay Tree Classic. The Chanticleers fired a 296 among their top four players to take the lead in the event by 10 shots over second place Middle Tennessee and James Madison. Host College of Charleston sits in fourth place with a 308.

The Lady Raiders were led by junior Kristin Lynch who fired rounds of 37-37 to stand in a tie for fifth overall. Teammates Maggie McGill and Amanda Harter recorded a 39-38 to tie for 21st. Tamara Munsch recorded a 78, while Jenny Kim completed the scoring with an opening round 83.

Tomorrow there will be another shotgun start at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.
