Lady Raider Volleyball Drops Two

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Middle Tennessee volleyball dropped their final two matches at the IPFW Tournament Saturday falling to Ohio University 3-1 (30-20, 33-36, 29-31, 17-30) and host IPFW 3-2 (26-30, 23-30, 30-22, 30-20, 6-15).

Junior KeKe Deckard led Middle Tennessee in both matches as she recorded 19 kills against Ohio and 21 kills against IPFW. Deckard had a double-double against IPFW as she also recorded 16 digs.

Junior Dara McLean also had a quality day as she recorded 11 kills in both matches. Freshman Andressa Lyra had 21 digs against Ohio.

The Lady Raiders host their home opener on Tuesday September 9 when Middle Tennessee faces Belmont at 7 p.m. in Alumni Memorial Gym.
