MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- Freshman Kim Alsobrook led the Lady Raiders harriers at the Commodore Invitational Saturday, finishing 68th in 22:57.60 in the 5K run at Percy Warner Park. Alsobrook was the top finisher for the Lady Raiders, who placed 14th in the meet at the Vaughn's Creek Course.
Erin Russell was next for Middle Tennessee, running 23:22.64 to place 72nd, while Lauren Milbourn came in 77th in 23:58.41.
Jo-Marie Thaggard finished in 24:30.64 to place 84th, with Kerry Barrow rounding out the five runners in 32:36.00 (108th).
Both the Lady Raiders and Blue Raiders will run at the WKU Old Timers Classic in Bowling Green, Ky., this coming Saturday, getting a preview of the course where the Sun Belt Championships will be run, November 1.
