Allan-Schledorn Fall in Round of 16

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- Sophomore Brandon Allan and freshman Kai Schledorn lost in Round of 16 doubles play Wednesday afternoonduring qualifying at the Icy Hot/ITA All-American Championships at The Champions Club in Chattanooga, Tenn., ending their run in the fist leg of the Collegiate Grand Slam.

Allan and Schledorn won three times in prequalifying to reach the qualifying round. A win in the round of 32 put the duo in Wednesday's matchup versus Claes Lindholm and Paul Ciorascu of Ole Miss, with the Rebels taking an 8-5 decision.

The full Blue Raider squad takes the rest of the week off before resuming play October 16-19 at the ITA Region III Championships in Memphis, Tenn.
