Volleyball falls to league-leading New Mexico State
October 19, 2003 · MT Media RelationsSenior Karisse Baker who had 12 kills and was the only Lady Raider to record double figure kills led middle Tennessee. The Lady Raiders were hampered by nine service errors and only had a .159 attack percentage. New Mexico State also recorded nine service errors but recorded a better attack percentage at .279.
Freshman Allison Liptak saw action in the third game as head coach Lisa Kissee tooled with the line-up. Liptak recorded three kills and one dig in her stint on the floor. Sophomore Kimberly Moeller also contributed as she led the team in digs with 16.
Middle Tennessee goes back on the road to face Sun Belt Conference opponents South Alabama and New Orleans on Friday and Sunday respectively.
