Volleyball Defeats South Alabama
October 25, 2003 · MT Media RelationsThe Jaguars (4-17, 1-8 SBC) led in all three matches, but watched their lead slip away as Middle Tennessee's Karisse Baker posted a match-high 16 kills to lead the Lady Raiders to victory.
The Jags were led behind Morgan Flarity's 11 kills, while Lacey Stejskal notched three block assists for the match. Freshman Summer Pilgrim also chipped in with nine kills and a pair of block assists. Junior Marie-Anne Grondin tallied six digs to lead the defense.
The Lady Raiders found consistency from KeKe Deckard, who registered a double-double performance with 10 kills and a match-high 15 digs. Libero Kimberly Moeller also recorded 10 digs for the match.
Middle Tennessee travels to New Orleans to take on the Privateers Sunday at 3 p.m.
