Lady Raiders, Lynch Tied for First

STOCKBRIDGE, GA - Following round one at the 36-hole John Kirk/Lady Panther Intercollegiate, the Middle Tennessee women's golf team is in a tie for first with a 306. The Lady Raiders are tied with Southern Miss atop the 12-team field.

Jacksonville State is in third with a 310 followed by Augusta State with a 316 and UCF is in fifth with a 317.

"We had one of our better rounds of the spring today," head coach Rachael Moore said. "Kristin (Lynch) and Maggie (McGill) really played well today, but we will have to be even better on Tuesday if we expect to win."

Middle Tennessee's Kristin Lynch and Campbell's Sofia Gorelik are tied for the individual lead. Both players fired even par 72s on the Eagles Landing Country Club course.

Maggie McGill carded a 73 for the Lady Raiders to tie for third overall, while teammate Tamara Munsch-Akers is tied for 11th with a 77.

Jenny Kim is tied for 47th with an 84, while Kemmerlee Pennington is tied for 60th with a round of 90.

The Lady Raiders will play the final round on Tuesday with a starting tee time of 7:40 AM.
