Lady Raiders Place Third; McGill ties for 2nd

The Lady Raiders finished just four shot back of tournament winner Jacksonville State, which carded a 613. Southern Miss was second with a 615.
Middle Tennessee's Maggie McGill had a 75 in the final round to place in a tie for second overall. It marked the best collegiate finish for the freshman from Bowling Green, KY. McGill had a two-round total of 148.
Kristin Lynch tied for fifth with a 151, while Tamara Munsch-Akers tied for 12th with a 155. After an opening round 72, Lynch struggled on day two with a 79.
Freshman Jenny Kim tied for 34th with a 163, while Kemmerlee Pennington was 55th.
This marked the final tournament of the fall for the Lady Raiders, who will not be back on the lynx until Feb. 16 at the Golden Panther Championship in Miami, FL.
