(following morning practice on Aug. 10)

FROST GRABS TWO:Tight end Lucas Frost, who earned "Best Conditioned Athlete" honors earlier this week, hauled in two passes during the morning workout including one for a touchdown. Frost, out of Jonesboro, GA, played in all 11 games a year ago and started three times. "My goal all summer was to work hard so I could contribute this season," Frost said. "I dedicated myself to improving. Everyday I worked on catching footballs and getting better. When the coaches see you catching consistently in practice then they have more confidence in you come game time."

STEVE DAVIS ON DEFENSE:"They are getting better everyday and every practice. What I like the most right now is that they want to get better. We still have some work to do, but we're moving along nicely."
