UALR Snaps Lady Raider Win Streak

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee volleyball's (13-17, 4-8 Sun Belt) win streak was snapped on with a 3-2 (28-30, 30-26, 26-30, 30-22, 13-15)loss to Arkansas-Little Rock (17-10, 6-2 Sun Belt) on Sunday in Alumni Memorial Gym.

The Lady Raiders were riding a four-match winning streak that included two key wins in the Sun Belt, which helped the team's cause in a bid to the Sun Belt Tournament.

After taking game four 30-22, the Lady Raiders committed four costly errors in the fifth game and UALR didn't commit any to help lead the Lady Trojans to the win. UALR also recorded a .409 attack percentage in contrast to Middle Tennessee's .200.

Junior KeKe Deckard led the Lady Raiders with 22 kills and also recorded six digs. Karisse Baker and Dara McLean each added 11 kills and setter Goldie Bilyeu had a match leading 58 assists.

The Lady Raiders are still in the hunt for a berth in the Sun Belt Tournament and end their regular season next weekend as the team hosts Louisiana-Lafayette on Friday November 14 at 7 p.m. and Western Kentucky at noon on Sunday November 15.
