MURFREESBORO, Tenn. Lindsey Vander Lugt put in a strong performance, giving up no earned runs but the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders (15-17, 4-3 SBC) could not manage a hit as they fell to South Alabama Jaguars (18-10, 3-1 SBC) Saturday at Blue Raider Field, 1-0.

Blue Raider starter Vander Lugt (11-11) picked up the loss for MT, giving up no runs on just four hits while striking out two and walking one in the complete game effort.

Linden Jones (12-5) got the complete game no-hitter for the Jaguars, giving up no runs and no hits while striking out four and walking one in the win. The only run of the game came in the top of the 6th inning. With the game knotted at zero, Ashley Elmore stepped up the plate and hit a ground ball to third base. Melissa Weiland was unable to hold onto the ball as it bounced off the tip of her glove. After being advanced on a sacrifice bunt, Elmer scored when Tara Donaldson doubled to right center.
