Blue Raiders in second place after round one

Narramore, Provow tied for sixth

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee shot an even par 288 to stand in a tie for second place after the first round of the Middle Tennessee/Aldila Intercollegiate. The Blue Raiders are serving as hosts with the tournament being played on the par 72 course at Old Fort Golf Club.

Chas Narramore and Spencer Provow led the way for Middle Tennessee in round one as both shot a 1-under par 71. Craig Smith and Kent Bulle each carded a 73 to tie for 21st. Rick Cochran completed the scoring for the Blue Raiders with a disappointing 80 to tie for 56th.

Bart Barnes, Nick Bailes, and Derrick Bright are all playing as individuals. Barnes fired a 71, while Bailes registered a 73 and Bright and 81.

The second round got underway at 1:10 PM and should be completed around 6 PM.
