Holmes Hits Milestones in Lady Raider Win over TSU

The Lady Raiders struggled early and only led by nine (40-31) at the half but pulled away in the second half when Middle Tennessee put pressure on the Lady Tigers. Middle Tennessee had three players battling foul trouble allowing numerous bench players to see minutes in the game.
Middle Tennessee went back to it's hot shooting was as the team shot 55.2 percent from the field and was 40 percent from the three point line. The Lady Raiders also had 14 steals in the game doubling the theft mark of TSU who ended the night with seven.
Sophomore Tia Stovall had a good night as she recorded 14 points in the contest, which is the first time she has scored in double figures in four games. Freshman Krystle Horton also scored in double figures as she had 10.
Middle Tennessee plays at home for the first time in five games when the Lady Raiders host Chicago State on Wednesday. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
