Reid, Relay Finishes Second at Sea Ray Relays
Cox, Thomas both post personal-bests

Reid placed second in the 100-meters in 10.31 behind Wisconsin's Demi Omole, who ran 10.28. The 4x200 relay of senior Juan Walker, Reid, senior Jermaine Barton and sophomore Samuel Adade finished second in 1:24.10.
Elsewhere on Friday, Waller placed ninth in the 400-meters but was the fifth collegian with a time of 47.84, and Walker was ninth in the 110-meter hurdles but was the third collegian with a time of 14.31. Senior James Thomas set a personal-best in the shot put with a mark of 53-11, placing seventh.
Freshman Sarah Nambawa posted a season-best 40-0.75, finishing seventh in the triple jump, while freshman Brittany Cox was eighth in the discus with a mark of 137-8 and posted a personal-best in the hammer throw with a mark of 152-1.
The women's 4x200-meter relay of sophomore TraMayne Gillyard, Nambawa, senior Shanna-Kay Campbell and sophomore Erika Palmer placed fifth in 1:37.98.
Middle Tennessee finishes competition at the Sea Ray Relays on Saturday at Tom Black Track at Laporte Stadium.
