"I just wanted to feel comfortable somewhere and I do at Middle Tennessee. Coach Pete didn't promise anything but he said the opportunity is there to work my way into the rotation as a freshman."

"He's a very talented lefthanded pitcher and has a good breaking ball," Peterson said. "We didn't know if we could get him. We're real glad to get him this late in the recruiting process."
Farr joins eight other signees in the Class of 2007, including: righthanded pitcher PJ Francescon (Nolensville, Tenn., Ravenwood HS), catcher Tyler Acker (Old Hickory, Tenn., DCA), outfielder/pitcher Bryce Brentz (Knoxville, Tenn., South Doyle HS), outfielder/pitcher Michael Adamson (Freeburg, Ill., Freeburg HS), infielder Justin Miller (Knoxville, Tenn., Bearden HS) infielder Tyler Burnett (Murfreesboro, Tenn., Oakland HS); righthander pitcher Kevin Whittaker (Nashville, Tenn./Volunteer State Community College) and righthander pitcher Judd Stoltz (Lewisburg, Tenn./Marshall County HS).
