The Lady Raiders (6-2) completed the sweep by downing Cumberland 6-1 in the nightcap.
Bobo (3-1) tossed seven complete innings allowing four hits and striking out a season-high 12 in the opener. Senior Cortney Mitchell went 3-for-3 in the game and had two doubles.
Middle Tennessee scored three runs in the bottom of the first to take the early lead. Muriel Ledbetter led off the inning with a single and then stole second. A double by Mitchell advanced Ledbetter to third and Brittany Herald scored Ledbetter on a ground out to the second baseman. Mitchell scored on an error by second baseman Brandy Baird and then Leah Grothause, who reached on a walk and stole second, was sent home on an the errant throw.
The Lady Raiders added a run in the bottom of the third when Mitchell singled and was sent home on an RBI double by Brittany Herald. Middle Tennessee plated two runs in the fourth inning off a two RBI single by Ledbetter.
Mitchell scored the third run of the game in the bottom of the sixth when she doubled off the center field wall and was sent home by an RBI double by Herald.
In the second game, Middle Tennessee broke open a 1-1 game with three runs in the third inning to grab the lead for good. MT added two more insurance runs in the sixth to secure the team's third straight win.
Mitchell, voted the game's MVP by members of the media, had a home run, a triple and two RBI to lead the Lady Raiders.
Trish White (1-0) three five innings and allowed just two hits to pick up her first win of the year.
The Lady Raiders travel to Knoxville on Tuesday to take on No. 13 Tennessee. First pitch action is set for 4 p.m.
