MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee junior Ashley Adams was voted MVP of the Idaho Classic and sophomore Leslie Clark and freshman Izabela Kozon were both named to the all-tournament team, as the Blue Raiders won their second tournament of the season over the weekend in Moscow, Idaho.

Adams collected 57 kills in 12 games in the three matches, or 4.75 per game. She recorded 18 kills in a victory Saturday over Idaho and then had 24 kills in a come-from-behind five-game triumph against Oregon State later in the day.

She also registered a pair of double-doubles in the wins on Saturday, posting 10 digs versus Idaho and 11 against Oregon State. The St. Louis, Mo., native had just eight hitting errors in 112 chances for a hitting percentage of .438. Adams is averaging 4.38 kills per game through Middle Tennessee's first seven matches.

Clark had a fantastic weekend, handing out 171 assists, or 14.24 per game in the three contests. The Olathe, Kan., native tied her career-high with 62 assists in the victory over Idaho and has at least 50 helpers in six of the team's seven matches this season and in eight of the last nine outings dating to last year.

Clark has been even better than she was last season as a freshman, averaging 15.24 assists per game so far in 2007, more than two more assists per game over last year.

Kozon ranked third on the club with 33 kills over the weekend, including 12 versus Idaho and 14 against Oregon State. She also added 13 digs in the win over OSU, her first career double-double.

The Warsaw, Poland, native ranks third on the club with 75 kills this season, 3.00 per game, and is also third on the squad in digs with 73, or 2.92 per game.

Middle Tennessee opens the home schedule next weekend, starting Friday with the Blue Raider Bash at Alumni Memorial Gym. The squad hosts Northeastern (1 p.m.) and Georgia State (7:30 p.m.) on Friday and take on UT-Arlington (1 p.m.) on Saturday. The Blue Raiders will also host Missouri State in a single match Sunday at 4 p.m.
