Football's Clint Marks, Luke Paschall, Sean Mosley and Dana Stewart all received their degrees, while former women's hoops players Amanda Bevis, Lakira Boyd, Kelly Chastain, Carden Cobb and Whitney Tate also graduated. Bevis and Chastain both received master's degrees in August.

Also on the list of August graduates were former baseball players Chad Cooper and Chris Treadway, with Treadway receiving his master's, as well as softball players Kristine Reed and Liz Davis. Davis graduated with her MBA.

Track's Sean Waller got his bachelor's, while soccer's Jessica Northcutt received a master's in Criminal Justice and Brandi Bashor completed her master's as part of the Sports Medicine program.

In December of 2006, a total of 32 student-athletes earned their degrees and participated in graduation ceremonies. There were 13 in football, five in baseball, four in men's track, three in softball, three in men's golf, two in soccer, and one each in men's tennis and volleyball.

More than 40 Middle Tennessee student-athletes took part in commencement ceremonies this past spring, including 10 in football, six each in baseball and women's track, five in men's track, three in soccer, two each in volleyball, men's tennis and men's golf, and one each in softball, women's golf and men's basketball.
