Players completed the second round Tuesday morning and then played the third and final round. The second round was originally scheduled for Monday but it was suspended four after holes due to severe thunderstorms. The second round proved to be the undoing for the Blue Raiders as they shot 7-over to fall 12 shots behind leader Mississippi.

Middle Tennessee came back to play the final round at 1-over but it couldn't make up ground on the field and eventually slipped from fourth after the first round to seventh among the 18-team field.

Mississippi won the tournament at 4-under 860, followed by LSU (862) and Louisiana Tech.

Craig Smith and Kent Bulle continued to play well Tuesday as they finished tied for 13th with an even 216 for the three rounds. They also had the Blue Raiders' best round when each fired 70 in the opening round.

Rick Cochran played the second and third rounds at 1-over and finished tied for 28th with a 220, while Nick Bailes finished at 226 and Chas Narramore carded a 229 for the Blue Raiders.
