Blue Raiders continue play at the ITA Southeast Region Tournament.
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Senior Claudia Szabo led the Blue Raiders on Friday at the ITA Southeast Region Tournament hosted by the University of North Carolina on.
Szabo defeated Ashley Rogers of NC-Central 6-3, 6-0. Szabo will play Alex Hirsch, who is seeded fifth in the tournament, in the round of 32 at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Junior Marlene Chemin and senior Ann-Kristin Siljestrom, seeded ninth in the doubles main draw, fell to Virginia Berry and Kelsey Linville of Davidson 8-2.
In the singles main draw, Siljestrom fell to Austin Smith of UNC, seeded ninth, 6-2, 6-2.
