Blue Raider signee named Player of the Year

Elebute receives awards after inking with MT ()

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Middle Tennessee inked Tosin Elebute during the early signing period in November.

Since signing with the Blue Raiders, Elebute has been named the 2007 South Florida Sun Sentinel 4A-5A-6A Player of the Year. Elebute has also been named 5A First Team All-State by the Florida High School Athletic Association.

"All along we have felt that Tosin would be one of our most-decorated recruits here at Middle Tennessee and, as evidenced by these and her previous awards, that that is continually being validated," head coach Matt Peck said.

Middle Tennessee ended the 2007 season 35-3 clinching both the regular season and tournament Sun Belt Conference title. The Blue Raiders also advanced to the NCAA Regionals for the first time in school history.
