Andy McCollum, Ole South Properties Golf Invitational set for May 26April 26, 2004 · MT Media Relations
McCollum has been lending his name and time to the tournament for the past four years. John Floyd, who owns Ole South Properties, approached McCollum back in 2000 about joining him and helping raise money for the Boys and Girls Club. It has been a good fit for the charity, McCollum and Ole South Properties. The name has truly gotten out, as the tournament has grown rapidly over the last five years. The event, which raises over $100,000 for the club, normally fills up quick so contact Joe Morgan at the Boys and Girls Club today and make your plans to participate. A big supporter of the Boys and Girls Clubs, McCollum also hosts a camp over the summer for the group. It is a way for him to give back to the community and show his support.
"I think the Boys and Girls Club is a great organization," McCollum said. "John Floyd has put together a great event and I am honored to be a part of it. These kids are our future and it is important we invest in their time and energy."
