Dillard notches top 10 finish at USA Lady Jags Invitational

MOBILE, Ala. - The Middle Tennessee women's golf team improved its play by eight strokes and improved its standing in the final round of the USA Lady Jaguar Invitational, finishing ninth with a two-day 634.

After opening with a 321 in Monday's first round, Middle Tennessee came back with a 25-over 313 Tuesday, which was the fourth lowest score in the 18-team field.

Senior Jamey Dillard led Middle Tennessee with a 9-over 153 and tied for seventh overall. Dillard had a share of the lead after shooting a 1-over 73 Monday but she slipped to seventh with an 80 Tuesday.

Durham shot 80 in each round and finished tied for 38th with a 160. Clara Leathers (162, T47), Leigh Wilkins (164, T60) and Cecilia Orevik (82-82 164) rounded out the scoring for Middle Tennessee.
